Candle Making 101: In depth class for those who wish to make soy candles at home.
Save money by learning to make your own 100% natural soy container candles. Along with learning techniques, tips and tricks for making your own soy container candles, each class member will make and decorate their own 6 oz soy candle tin to take home!
During the 2 hour in depth Soy Candle Making Class, you will learn everything you need to know about making soy container candles in your own home, including the following:
- Proper temperatures and scent to wax ratios
- Basic scent blending techniques using essential oils (you will create your own two note blend to use in your candle)
- Different kinds of candle waxes and why we use soy
- Candle making equipment and techniques
- How to select the proper wick
- How to make your own candle (of any size) at home.
Prerequisite: No experience necessary (students must be at least 12 years old - under 16 must be accompanied by an adult).
Class fee: $45 (Includes $10 materials charge).

All classes are held at our shop in Avondale Estates, GA.
The Fine Print:
*Class size is minimum of 6 people, maximum of 8. Class registrations will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis. If the class minimum is not met, we reserve the right to reschedule for a later date, or you may request a refund.
*Cancellations must be made 72 hours prior to class. We don't offer refunds, but we will apply your credit toward another class or toward a purchase at Mama Bath + Body. If you cancel within the 72 hour period, we cannot offer refunds or credits. NO EXCEPTIONS!
*Groups of four or more receive a 15% discount if purchased as one order. We cannot discount individual transactions.
*You must be 16 or older to participate in our soapmaking classes and 12 or older to participate in our candle making classes.
