Mosquito season is in full swing! Fortunately, we have concocted our herbal bug spray that is made with 90% certified organic ingredients and is 100% natural!
We started by infusing organic witch hazel with organic lemon balm, organic catnip, and organic lavender – all herbs that we love and bugs hate. And then we rounded it out with a powerful blend of essential oils to inspire those little buggers to Bug Off. We started with lemon eucalyptus, which has long been touted for its bug-repelling powers and teamed it with the powerhouse mosquito puncher, citronella. Lavender, geranium, and tea tree essential oils provide additional powers of repulsion to help keep the bugs at bay.
Note: Natural bug spray is much like natural sunscreen: one application will not likely last you all day. It will need to be reapplied as necessary.

Nice alternative to DEET based sprays
I'm a big fan of more natural bug sprays over the sticky, stinky DEET based ones. The bug off spray has a lovely smell that you don't mind spraying all over exposed skin. It can make you a little more prone to sunburn, so make sure to apply sunblock prior to applying bug off spray if you are going to be out in the sun for hours. In general, the spray works well to ward off mosquitoes in typical outdoor scenarios. The combo of the soap + spray tends to be enough to ward off mosquitoes, but you can still get bit if you don't re-apply the spray often enough if really mosquito dense areas. Since it smells so good, maybe adding a bug off lotion could help too (wink wink, nudge nudge)! Cathy on Nov 7th 2021

This really works!
