Product Drop spring 2025

Happy Spring dear old friends!

I don’t know about y’all, but spring couldn’t come soon enough. It was even worth the massive allergy attack/sinus infection that came with it. (If you live in Atlanta, YOU KNOW). But I’m back from spring break and all healed up and coming to you with some fresh products for the coming seasons! I was Really hoping to do this pop up on my beautiful new site, but time wasn’t on my side. So this Really will be the last sale on my old site.

There are some old favorites (herbal bug spray and lavender salve) some new products (Yarrow hydrosol) some sale essential oils that need to find new homes and there’s even…a bit of soap! I made few batches of an old favorite and had a few others left over from commissions I did recently. It’s not a lot, so please don’t be mad at me when it sells out really fast.

Another important note: This will be the last of this packaging and these prices on a few of the products (mainly bug sprays and salves). I haven’t revisited my cost of goods in ages (also: tariffs) and I’ve been wanting to improve the environmental footprint of my products for a while now, so that is going to happen this year

I’ve thought a lot about the direction I want to take these web sales and it definitely includes more soap. But, as I mentioned in a previous email, this requires more space. (I’m still working out of 2 nonadjacent small spaces and a 400 square foot storage unit) By this time next year, my basement workshop *should* be finished and I will be able to make more soap happen. Patience is a lousy virtue. Added note: This construction project requires completely trashing my lovely and mature backyard garden, so I will be in a medically induced coma until it’s over. But I’ll do my best to revive long enough to do a holiday pop up.

Speaking of gardens, since I won’t be able to work in my backyard garden much this year, I have more time to work on the herbal learning garden project at East Lake garden (link) I’m so excited about it. I also got around to clearing a weedy bed to make way for a big pollinator/butterfly garden under the pecan tree in the middle of the garden, which I’m going to start planting the minute I finish shipping out these orders. I'm actually going to be moving some of the mature plants from my home garden to make way for construction, so this garden should be popping sooner than a garden full of new plants typically does. I’m also increasing the number of plants in my distillation garden so I can distill more hydrosols in a season. As always, lots to do. I just hope I can get all of these plants in the ground before the hot hot heat hits. Wish me luck!

In the meantime, the products will be on the site until EOD Friday (unless something sells out. i'm looking at you soap. sorry.) and I’ll ship everything next week. As always, thank you so so much for your continued support of my sweet little business.

Warmly,

Emilie
