Our new Rosemary Shampoo Bar (with cocoa butter) is a 100% natural bar soap alternative to commercial liquid shampoos that are full of chemicals. Our shampoo bars are easy to use - just lather in your hands and apply like a regular shampoo. Formulated for normal hair but great for all hair types.
Our Rosemary Shampoo Bar recipe is a power packed combo of restorative and ultra conditioning Cocoa Butter, moisturizing Castor Oil, Sweet Almond Oil and Sunflower Oil and hydrating Avocado Oil. It's scented with rosemary essential oil providing an energizing and reviving experience. We also added a bit of ground rosemary, as rosemary is known to increase blood flow to the skin, encouraging hair growth.
Our shampoo bars are safe for color treated hair! Since we only use natural oils in our products, there aren’t any chemicals or ingredients that will strip your color.
We cut each bar a chunky 5 oz, and cure it for 3 weeks. The finished bars look splendidly natural, like the ingredients that they are made of.

Ingredients: Saponified oils of coconut, sunflower, sweet almond, avocado, organic palm, cocoa butter, castor, rosemary essential oil and ground rosemary.
Product tip: For best use, we recommend cutting the bar into thirds before using.Note: If you've been using commercial shampoos, it may take a little time for your hair to adjust to your new, natural regimen. Here are some tips for how to make the switch:
1. Lather bar in your hands and apply like a liquid shampoo. You may have to repeat this step a few times to achieve the ideal amount of lather. Massage well into scalp and work through hair to the ends and then rinse well. (Mama's note: we do not use synthetic lathering ingredients, so you may not end up with as much lather as you're used to. Don't worry, because a smaller amount of lather still gets your hair nice and clean!)
2. After your first shampoo, rinse with apple cider vinegar. Just mix 1 to 2 tbsp of ACV with 8 oz of water and apply to your hair, massaging in like shampoo. Leave it in for a few minutes and rinse well. The smell of vinegar will fade completely.
3. Allow at least a week for your hair to adjust. Sometimes it takes a few washes to completely rid your hair of commercial shampoo build up.

The Best Shampoo!
I have been using this shampoo for over two years. I was concerned about thinning hair
and every time I shampooed I'd see hair collected in the shower.
Since using the Rosemary shampoo, my hair loss has decreased significantly. And, I have no need of any product on my hair after washing.

Works great!
I bought rosemary shampoo bar for my daughter, because we're all trying to reduce our plastics impacts. She asked me to get more!
She didn't have any issues with transferring to a bar vs commercial shampoo, possibly because she has short hair. But this is a big thing, because we always had a difficult time finding shampoo that worked with her hair needs.
Bar form is also great for travel, especially if you follow suggestion to cut bar in half or thirds. LK in WA on Oct 12th 2021 -
I so wanted to love this
First off, it smells wonderful. The lather is great and, at first, I thought it was going to work well. I have very fine, very thin hair. The first few days, my hair felt clean and fresh. However, it then started feeling tacky, looking dirty, and getting matted to the point where I couldn't comb it out. Knots were forming and ripping out. I did try the recommended ACV application and kept it up for three weeks. I even added back in my conditioner, but that didn't help either... it was still impossible to comb through. I really love the idea of not having a plastic bottle and the natural ingredients, but this did not work for my baby-like hair. Kelly on May 3rd 2021

First time switching to shampoo bar and never going back!
I purchased this product because I have been looking for a plastic free alternative when buying shampoo and other beauty products. I am local to Atl, so decided to give the Mama shampoo bar a try. It is awesome!!! Lathers better than any shampoo, gets my hair clean without the awful 'squeaky' clean feeling. Rosemary shampoo bar
I was skeptical of this bar. I took the advice given, broke it down to three smaller bars, and I’ve got an ACV bottle diluted the the suggested amount that I also use. I haven’t just washed the bar out without the ACV/water blend yet. But, so far I’m really happy! The soap lathers up a lot more than I thought that it would so it still fulfills my years of being trained that my conventional shampoo won’t clean unless it gets all lathered up.
I have relatively thin, wavy hair and this shampoo bar leaves my hair clean looking (for a few days on end) and leaves my hair noticeably more voluminous than other shampoos.
My hair gets really tangled up (in general, it always has) so sometime I would love to see a de-tangle product from LYM or a de tangle conditioner?
But the shampoo bar is a definite two thumbs up from me! bk on Jan 5th 2021 -

Don’t hesitate to try this shampoo bar!!
I have been using this shampoo bar since it came in and my hair looks and feels so healthy! I feel it works better to rub the bar onto my hair instead of rubbing it in my hands first. Waste-Free Shampoo!
